KPMG Abogados advises Ipcom on the acquisition of the Fanair group
KPMG Abogados has advised Ipcom, the Belgian distributor specialising in thermal insulation and building solutions, on the tax due diligence carried out in the context of the acquisition of Madrid-based Fanair.
Following the completion of the transaction, Fanair will be integrated into Ipcom’s Isopartner business unit, a move that will enable the Belgian group to strengthen its presence in southern Europe.
The Spanish company currently operates from four locations: two warehouses and a duct manufacturing plant in Madrid, as well as a point of sale in Bilbao. Fanair has an annual turnover of approximately €40 million and a workforce of 90 employees.
Ignacio Font (partner) and Martí Tubau (senior manager) from KPMG Abogados’ tax department participated in the transaction.
