Eversheds Sutherland advises Plameca on its merger with Nutribiotic
The cross-border US and Spanish team at Eversheds Sutherland represented the Spain-based Plameca group in its merger with US company Nutribiotic.
Plamesa is a Catalan company dedicated to the development, manufacture and distribution of natural supplements, vitamins, minerals and plant extracts.
Nutribiotic, meanwhile, is a company located in Lakeport, California (US), which sells nutritional supplements and personal care products. With this acquisition, Plamesa’s third in recent years (along with Galileo Garma and ATP), it is expanding its presence in the United States.
The advice was led by Ted Cominos Jr (partner in the US) and Evan Johnson (associate in the US), among others, in collaboration with Ignacio Balañá de Eguía (partner in Spain). Other members of the team included Marc Benjamin (partner in the US), R. Todd Silliman (partner in the US), Bonnie R. Burke (solicitor in the US) and Ummehani (Hani) Majeed (associate in the US).
