Secuoya Studios appoints Alfredo Bermúdez de Castro as chief operating officer

Secuoya Studios has appointed Alfredo Bermúdez de Castro Berbel as its new chief operating officer (COO), reinforcing the company’s leadership team. In his new role, Bermúdez de Castro will lead the studio’s operations, oversee organisational growth across divisions, and drive process optimisation to boost production capacity and strengthen its global presence.

With more than fifteen years of experience in senior management positions, Bermúdez de Castro has developed a career combining audiovisual law, corporate management and executive leadership within the entertainment sector of a major global technology company. He holds a degree in Law and International Business Administration and brings extensive experience in high-impact international transactions in media and entertainment, as well as in the innovative structuring of complex audiovisual operations for the optimal protection and exploitation of intellectual property.

Prior to joining Secuoya Studios, he served as a commercial affairs executive at Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, where he specialised in negotiating multiple successful Amazon Original productions, strategic content acquisition agreements and cross-functional coordination, reporting directly to Hollywood, California. Previously, he served as a senior associate at the international law firms Andersen and Écija.

At Secuoya Studios, Bermúdez de Castro will oversee the efficiency and cohesion of all divisions, optimising global project management and reinforcing a culture of operational excellence. His appointment will further strengthen the studio’s international reach as it continues its expansion strategy in Europe, Latin America and the United States.
