Telles advises CDP on tax reform proposal for the sports sector
Telles has advised the Portuguese Sports Confederation (CDP) on the preparation of a comprehensive tax reform proposal for the sports sector. The proposal was presented to the presidents of the sports federations in Lisbon last 20th October. The initiative aims to promote appreciation of and sustainability in the national sport sector by creating a fairer, more tailored tax framework.
Telles’ multidisciplinary team was led by Abílio Rodrigues, partner in the tax practice (pictured), and José Gomes Mendes, counsel and head of the sports çaw practice, with the participation of João Pedro Regufe and Sara Brito Cardoso, associates in the tax practice, and Ricardo Morgado, external consultant.
