PLMJ advises Oxy Capital on Brasmar 25% stake acquisition
PLMJ advised Oxy Capital on the acquisition of a nearly 25% stake in Brasmar Group, one of the largest Portuguese companies in the frozen and chilled seafood sector.
On PLMJ’s side, the deal was led by Duarte Schmidt Lino (pictured), partner and co-head of the corporate M&A practice, with participation from lawyers in the same practice, Rita Pereira Jardim, Beatriz Veiga Santos, and Valéria Correia Ferreira. The transaction also involved contributions from the banking and finance and capital markets teams, including Rita Romão, Pedro de Almeida Fernandes, and Francisca Ramos Franco; the tax team, with Carolina Campos Dias; and the EU and competition law team, with Martim Valente and Rodrigo Policarpo.
