Francisco Fernández, new head of employment law at KPMG Abogados
KPMG Abogados has appointed Francisco Fernández as the new partner in charge of the employment law department, replacing Javier Hervás.

Fernández has more than 25 years of experience in employment law. He specialises in collective bargaining, legal assistance in court proceedings and labour and social security inspections, individual and collective dismissals, transfers, employment and senior management contracts, due diligence and M&A in the field of employment law, business succession and occupational risk prevention.
In addition, he also provides ongoing advice on ESG compliance for HR departments, highlighting his experience in union negotiations and the implementation of equality, diversity and inclusion plans, LGTBI protocols, teleworking and digital disconnection policies, work-life balance and policies on the use and enjoyment of adaptation and reduced working hours rights, among other matters.
The new head has developed his professional career at KPMG Abogados since 2010. Previously, he has also worked at firms such as Deloitte and CMS.
