Cuatrecasas advises on the incorporation of Costa Serra into Leading Brokers United Spain

Cuatrecasas has advised Leading Brokers United Spain, the holding company through which the German insurance brokerage group GGW Group operates in Spain, on the incorporation into its group of companies of Costa Serra, a family-owned insurance brokerage with a strong presence in Spain and, above all, in Catalonia.

Leading Brokers United thus continues with its strategic expansion plan in Spain. It has an outstanding network of medium-sized insurance brokers, known for its solid partner companies in the DACH region and in the Netherlands, France, Poland, Italy, and Spain, which, through its more than 70 offices, offers specialized solutions to clients in more than 30 industries and sectors, from automotive and real estate to shipbuilding, cybersecurity, and directors and officers liability insurance.

The team was led by Kai Christian Fischer, partner in M&A/German Desk, who headed the team of lawyers comprising Ana Laso, from the same group, Álvaro Fernández, from Labor, and Ruth Duque and Celia Zafra, from Insurance.
