Mutualidad expands its management team

Mutualidad has expanded its management team with the appointment of Rocío Castedo Rancaño as director of Mutualidad’s transformation office and Silvia Rubio Tejedor as director of the corporate and legal area of Grupo Mutualidad. Both join the company’s Management Committee, and Castedo also joins the entity’s Executive Committee.

In the words of Fernando Ariza, managing director of Mutualidad: ‘With Rocío and Silvia in their new positions, we are consolidating a more specialised and cross-functional management model and moving towards a more agile, coordinated organisation geared towards meeting the challenges of growth, innovation and sustainability.’

Rocío Castedo Rancaño

Castedo Rancaño will take charge of the newly created Mutualidad transformation office, designed to perform the functions of strategic supervision and planning, management and monitoring of the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan.

With more than 20 years of experience in strategic consulting and business transformation, Rocío Castedo has developed her career in international firms such as Kearney and Arthur D. Little, where she led projects in strategy, technological innovation, organisational redesign and operational efficiency in the financial and insurance sectors. The new head is an industrial organisation engineer and holds an MBA from IE Business School. She stands out for her ability to align business and technology, drive digitalisation and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.

Silvia Rubio Tejedor

Rubio Tejedor will be the new director of the Corporate and Legal Area of Grupo Mutualidad with the aim of strengthening the company’s institutional governance and legal framework. She will also provide legal and corporate secretarial support to the entity’s Governing Board. She holds a law degree with a specialised background in EU law from CEU San Pablo University and has more than two decades of experience in the financial and insurance sector.

Rubio has spent most of her career at AXA Seguros, where she held various positions of responsibility in the business and legal-corporate areas. Since 2022, she has been part of Mutualidad as a senior lawyer in the Legal Advisory area. Her profile combines solid technical training with a commitment to institutional transparency, good governance and management efficiency, essential skills in the entity’s new strategic phase.
