Pedro Gómez Rivera joins Martínez-Echevarría as labour partner
Martínez-Echevarría Abogados has welcomed Pedro Gómez Rivera as a new labour law partner. He transits from Belzuz Abogados, where he served as professional partner and head of the labour law department. “The arrival of Pedro Gómez Rivera is particularly significant given the ongoing legislative developments, changing case law, and the growing number of new labour compliance obligations faced by companies”, states Martínez-Echevarría.

Over the past 18 years, he has led the labour law departments of national firms, building experience in matters such as comprehensive legal advice to prestigious national and multinational companies, complex collective bargaining, including collective redundancy procedures (EREs), collective substantial modifications, and collective agreement negotiations, labour litigation, advising senior executives and company directors on employment and corporate governance matters, among others.
His expertise covers key sectors of the economy, including travel agencies, construction, services and consultancy, aeronautics, and the pharmaceutical/chemical industry.
