Proença de Carvalho advises Oakspire on Viroc and Valbopan deal
Proença de Carvalho has advised Oakspire on the acquisition of two companies operating in the wood and materials processing industry — Viroc Portugal and Valbopan, from Fundo Recuperação, Fundo de Capital de Risco Fechado, a fund managed by ECS Sociedade de Capital de Risco.
The transaction involved financing for the acquisition and subsequent capitalization of the companies. Proença de Carvalho assisted throughout the entire process, including a bond loan in the total amount of €5,444,000.
The deal was led by associate Manuel Bruschy Martins (pictured), with the participation of associates Gonçalo Poejo Grilo, Mariana Castro Pereira, and Bruno Matias.
