Emilio Gómez new Real Estate Partner at PwC Tax & Legal
PwC Tax & Legal has announced the appointment of Emilio Gómez Delgado as Partner, responsible for driving real estate transactions within the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice, led by Jacobo Lavilla.
This move represents a significant reinforcement of one of PwC Tax & Legal’s core areas, bringing on board a recognized leader in the Spanish real estate market. Gómez brings more than 25 years of experience advising institutional funds, developers, and hotel chains on investment, development, and asset management transactions.
His expertise includes advising on the structuring of complex real estate deals, as well as playing a key role in the creation and IPO of SOCIMIs and REITs across various stock exchanges.
Before joining PwC, Gómez spent two decades at Hogan Lovells, where he became Head of Real Estate for the Madrid office. He is recognized in the international legal directory Chambers & Partners in the Real Estate category.
Gómez holds a dual degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE). In addition to his professional practice, he has an extensive academic background as professor of Real Estate Law in the Master of Legal Advice and in the Master in Strategy and Real Estate Business at the University of Navarra, where he also sits on the Advisory Council of the Law Faculty.
The hire reflects PwC’s continued commitment to strengthening its real estate capabilities. In June, the firm also welcomed Javier Kindelán, former Vice Chairman of CBRE, as Partner in the Transactions division.
Commenting on his appointment, Gómez stated: “This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to PwC’s ambitious strategy in the real estate sector, accompanying clients in increasingly sophisticated and global transactions.”
