Igneo purchases highway stakes from CVC DIF: advisors
Igneo Infrastructure Partners has acquired, indirectly, stakes in Autoestradas do Algarve and Autoestradas Norte Litoral, from the CVC DIF Infrastructure Fund. Igneo was advised by Vieira de Almeida, while CS’Associados acted as a legal advisor to CVC DIF.
This transaction represents a strategic step for Igneo in high-impact national road assets, states VdA. The Norte Litoral concession covers the A27 and A28 highways (113 km) and runs until 2031, while the Algarve concession covers the A22 highway (133 km) and expires in 2030. Both operate under availability-based public-private partnership models with a revenue-sharing component, providing predictable, inflation-linked cash flows.
CVC DIF, the infrastructure strategy of global private markets manager CVC, first invested in these concessions in 2017 and later consolidated its position in 2020. Under its ownership, both projects delivered stable operational performance and resilient cash flows, supported by active governance and operational oversight.
