Andersen integrates Santos de Oliveira & Associados
Andersen has strengthened its presence in Portugal with the integration of Santos de Oliveira & Associados, a boutique firm specialized in criminal law, white-collar crime and procedural law. The firm is led by Víctor Manuel dos Santos de Oliveira, who joins Andersen as Of Counsel. With this integration, Andersen continues to advance its growth strategy in Portugal and is now approaching 70 professionals across its Lisbon and Porto offices.
Alongside Víctor Manuel dos Santos de Oliveira, the team joining Andersen includes Bruno da Silva Tavares and Gonçalo Macieira as Senior Associates, and Cláudio Almeida as Lawyer.
Víctor Manuel dos Santos de Oliveira holds a Law degree from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa and brings more than 28 years of professional experience. He has served as Consultant to the Regional Vice-Presidency of Madeira and as Evaluator for the Portuguese Bar Association and the Centre for Judicial Studies. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the definition of legal principles in areas such as taxation, leases and trade union freedom. In addition to his legal practice, he teaches at the Escola Superior de Saúde Ribeiro Sanches (ERISA).
