GA_P joins ILUNION Legal Academy to promote Inclusive Legal Careers

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo (GA_P) has formally joined ILUNION Legal Academy, a pioneering initiative aimed at fostering training and employability for people with disabilities in the legal sector.

The agreement was signed by Alejandro Oñoro, CEO of ILUNION, and Iñigo Erlaiz, Managing Partner of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, at the corporate headquarters in Madrid.

ILUNION Legal Academy encompasses the Unlimited program, an innovative initiative that trains aspiring legal professionals with disabilities, providing them with specialized legal internships and real-world experience within corporate environments. The program targets law students and junior professionals seeking practical exposure in key areas, such as corporate law.

The legal department at ILUNION, recognized for its expertise in Contractual, Corporate, Litigation, Labor, Compliance, Data Protection, and Digital Transformation law, leads this initiative to promote a more inclusive and diverse legal sector.

The Unlimited program delivers comprehensive training that combines technical skills with transversal competencies such as effective communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Participants gain hands-on experience with real cases, obtaining a full understanding of legal operations within an organization.

Moreover, the program emphasizes ethical, responsible, and integrity-driven professional practice, strengthening relationships with clients, suppliers, law firms, legal departments, courts, and institutions.
