GA_P advises ING on the opening of its new flagship office in Madrid
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised ING on the formalization of the turnkey lease agreement for the opening of its first mega-office in Spain, which will open in 2026 at number 2 Paseo de la Castellana, in Madrid, in the building that housed the former headquarters of Banco Madrid.
The space, owned by Inbest GPF Socimi, will have more than 1,800 m² distributed over three floors and a terrace, and will become ING’s flagship location in Spain. The flagship will initially have a team of 15 professionals to serve retail, corporate, and investment banking clients, and will be key in the development of new business areas for the entity, such as private banking and banking for SMEs.
ING’s objective with this flagship is to offer a more personalised and customer-focused service model, breaking with the concept of the traditional bank branch and creating spaces for relationships with new customers, presentations and multidisciplinary activities.
