Cuatrecasas and Ecija advise on Astek’s acquisition of Quantion
Astek, the global engineering and technology consulting group, has acquired Quantion, a Spanish digital transformation company founded in 2015 and headquartered in Barcelona.
The transaction strengthens Astek’s footprint in Spain, where the Group now employs 500 professionals, and designates Barcelona as one of its strategic Global Delivery Centers. With over 150 experts, Quantion enhances Astek’s expertise in customer experience, data & AI, and cloud infrastructure, while expanding its presence in the travel and aviation sectors.
This cross-border transaction consolidates Astek’s position as a European leader in digital services, while supporting the Group’s long-term growth strategy in climate tech, mobility, and industrial decarbonization.
The legal aspects of the deal were advised by Cuatrecasas, with a team led by Pere Kirchner (partner) and Carles Camacho (associate), and by Ecija, with Xavi Muñoz Bellvehí and Daniel Marrodán Herrero.
