Morais Leitão advises on €500M European bonds issuence

Morais Leitão advised EDP on the first issuance of European Green Bonds of EDP’s group. The notes in the amount of €500 million were issued under EDP, EDP Finance B.V. and EDP SFE’s Programme for the Issuance of Debt Instruments (MTN) and are admitted to trading on Euronext Dublin. The proceeds from this issuance will be used to finance or refinance eligible green assets, as foreseen in the group’s Green Finance Framework. The assets are fully aligned with the EU Taxonomy, states the law firm.
