KPMG advises Plain Concepts on the acquisition of Irish company Ardanis

Spanish technology consultancy Plain Concepts has acquired Irish firm Ardanis, a UK firm specialised in software development, digital solutions and fintech, as part of its inorganic growth strategy.

This is the company’s second corporate acquisition, following the purchase of Apiumhub (see advisors), and strengthens its international presence in the UK, Ireland and Portugal.

With this transaction, Plain Concepts takes a new step in its international expansion and the launch of a new line of artificial intelligence solutions, consolidating its position as a benchmark in technological innovation.

For this transaction, KPMG in Spain provided legal, tax, financial, and labor due diligence advisory, and in particular, the KPMG Abogados team played a key role in the legal aspects of the deal. Specifically, in Tax M&A, the team was represented by Ignacio Font and Martí Tubau, while in Legal M&A, the contributions came from Luis Gomez, Eneko Aguirre, and Laura Lucas. Finally, in Labor M&A, the professionals involved were Ramón Mouriño and Yanira Miguel. Additionally, various KPMG Ireland teams supported the process, ensuring cross-border expertise throughout the transaction.
