Luís Amorim Teixeira appointed tax arbitrator at CAAD

Luís Amorim Teixeira has been appointed as a tax arbitrator at the Administrative Arbitration Centre (CAAD), effective September. CAAD is the national Portuguese body authorised to resolve disputes in the field of public law, particularly in administrative and tax matters. It plays a central role in serving the state, citizens and businesses through arbitration that is recognised both nationally and internationally.

Since 2024, Teixeira is also the founding partner of Amorim Tax & Legal, which focuses on tax, corporate and commercial law, contracts and real estate. In May 2025, Teixeira left CCAA, where he had been an associate lawyer and head of tax and restructuring, to fully dedicate himself to his own project.
