GA_P advises Caleres on Stuart Weitzman Distributor acquisition
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo (GA_P) has advised Caleres, the US footwear company, on the acquisition of Shoes by Stuart, the entity responsible for developing and distributing the iconic Stuart Weitzman footwear brand.
The transaction formed part of Caleres’ global acquisition of the Stuart Weitzman brand, a deal led by Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) for the buyer and Latham & Watkins for the seller.
This strategic move strengthens Caleres’ presence in the European market, broadens its portfolio of brands, and supports its ongoing international growth strategy.
