Melo Alves adds João Cabral Pessoa to litigation and labour team

Melo Alves has reinforced its litigation and labour law team with the addition of associate lawyer João Cabral Pessoa, who also brings significant experience in real estate and corporate law.

“We want to remain a legal boutique with litigation as the main pillar of our activity, which we see as an advantage in a changing market. With the addition of Cláudia Leonardo, we have a very cohesive group of partners made up of people we trust, and we wanted to expand the team so that we could continue to grow in litigation. We found in João Cabral Pessoa the qualities we were looking for in a lawyer,” said Tiago Melo Alves, Managing Partner.

Cabral Pessoa joins from LegalSquare Advogados, having previously practiced at GFDL – Gil Figueira & Devillet Lima Advogados and GPA – Gouveia Pereira, Costa Freitas & Associados. He also served as Legal Counsel at Grupo Exceltia. He holds a law degree and a master’s degree in Legal-Civil Sciences from Lusíada University of Lisbon.
