Sérvulo appoints two new equity partners and two new partners
Sérvulo & Associados has promoted Francisco Boavida Salavessa and Pedro Silveira Borges to equity partners, and Alexandra Valpaços and Manuel Henriques to hired partners. With these latest promotions, the firm now has a team of 35 partners, out of a total of 120 lawyers.

Francisco Boavida Salavessa
At Sérvulo since 2011, Boavida Salavessa is part of the Finance and Governance department and has extensive experience in providing legal advice to companies in the financial sector: banking, capital markets and insurance. He has been responsible for advising public entities and representative entities of the financial sector on regulatory and legislative matters in Portugal. The new equity partner has been recognised by his clients and international directories for the excellence and quality of his work.
Pedro Silveira Borges
Silveira Borges, elected partner, joined the M&A, Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions department of Sérvulo & Associados in 2021. He has distinguished himself as a leader in this area, having provided legal advice on several mergers and acquisitions in Portugal, as well as providing regular and ongoing legal support to various national and international clients.
The new equity partner has advised on some of the most complex M&A transactions in Portugal and has also provided legal advice to various clients in the areas of venture capital and private equity. Pedro Silveira Borges has been involved in major M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector, advising fund managers, independent power producers and multinationals on the development of renewable energy projects.
Alexandra Valpaços
A member of the Litigation and Arbitration department since 2015, Valpaços has been promoted to partner. With extensive experience in civil and M&A litigation before courts and arbitration tribunals, particularly in cases of contractual and non-contractual liability, Alexandra Valpaços has also participated in Portugal’s most important insolvency and corporate recovery proceedings.
Manuel Henriques
Henriques, a consultant in the Real Estate, Tourism and Urban Planning department since 2023, has also been promoted to partner. With extensive experience in urban planning and construction, he has advised numerous private entities on land use and urban planning, specifically in licensing procedures for urban development and tourism, as well as in real estate transactions, including real estate asset audits.
