Pinsent Masons advises Energía on wind farm acquisition
Pinsent Masons has provided legal advisory services to Feníe Energía in the acquisition of the Parque Eólico Azabache, a wind energy project in La Puebla de Valverde, Teruel. This deal strengthens Feníe Energía’s renewable energy portfolio and supports its goal to expand clean power generation in Spain, states Energía.
The acquisition marks a strategic step for Feníe Energía, an energy retailer in Spain. The project, expected to have an installed capacity of 6 MW and an estimated annual production of 20,200 MWh, is slated to become operational by 2027. With this deal, Feníe Energía strengthens its renewable energy portfolio, adding to its existing wind farms in Ourol (Lugo) and Sorihuela (Salamanca), as well as its portfolio of photovoltaic parks.
