Proença de Carvalho advises on the sale of Grupo Queijos Tavares
Proença de Carvalho has advised Crest Capital Partners on the sale of Grupo Queijos Tavares to the multinational Lactalis. Grupo Queijos Tavares is a producer of cow, sheep, and goat cheeses and owns the brands Seia do Tavares, Serras de Penela, Damar, and Monte da Soalheira. Lactalis is a French multinational that owns brands such as Parmalat, Ucal, and Santal.
The Proença de Carvalho team involved in the transaction was led by partner André Matias de Almeida (pictured) and coordinated by M&A associate Miguel Almeida Simões. The team also included partners Bárbara Schürmann and Filipa Loureiro, as well as lawyers Gonçalo Poejo Grilo, Mariana Castro Pereira, and Igor Amarii.
