Isabela Pérez Nivela, new Head of Legal at Inditex

Inditex will appoint Isabela Pérez Nivela as its new Head of Legal following the summer period, thereby strengthening its executive structure with a professional of solid and well-recognised experience in both the public and private sectors. She joins from Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, where she has served as Vice President of Corporate Legal since September 2023.

A Law graduate from the University of Navarra, State Lawyer, and holder of postgraduate studies from the University of Cambridge and IESE Business School, Pérez Nivela brings extensive legal and institutional expertise. Since September 2023, she has served as Corporate Vice President of Legal at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, the world’s largest Coca-Cola bottler, a group she has been part of for over a decade.

During her time at Coca-Cola, she has held several senior positions, including Vice President of Legal Strategy at Coca-Cola European Partners and previously Vice President of Legal at Coca-Cola Iberian Partners, overseeing legal matters across both Iberian and European operations.

In addition to her corporate background, Pérez Nivela has maintained strong ties with academia. For the past nine years, she has lectured at Esade Business School, teaching subjects such as corporate governance, tax law and compliance.

In the institutional field, the new Inditex legal head served as Chief State Lawyer in Catalonia from 2010 to 2013, and earlier as Secretary of the Economic Tribunal of the Basque Country in the early 2000s. She also held roles within the State Tax Administration Agency.

Beyond her legal career, she has held positions such as Chair of Andbank Wealth Management and Independent Director at Holaluz, contributing her expertise in corporate governance and strategic advisory.
