Devesa advises on the agreement between Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and SAICA to launch a new children’s collection
Devesa Abogados has provided legal advice on the partnership between designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Alicante-based toy manufacturer Muñecas SAICA, a toy company based in Onil and a leader in the sector since 1979, for the development and launch of a new officially licensed children’s collection.
The collection, which combines Ruiz de la Prada’s characteristic visual universe with SAICA’s experience in the design and manufacture of quality toys, will be launched in two phases: a first line of products will hit the market in the 2025 Christmas campaign and a summer expansion is planned for the summer of 2026, with beach items.
The project will be distributed under an omnichannel model, including platforms such as Miravia, the Don Dino chain and other specialised points of sale nationwide.
‘This collaboration invites us to explore imagination through style and joy. Our vision is for children to live in a world full of colour all year round,’ said Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
The transaction was led by lawyers Juan Antonio Botella and Anton Semik, who coordinated the legal structuring of the agreement, including the protection of intellectual property rights and the contractual definition of the collaboration.
