BDO Abogados appoints Juan Ignacio Olmos as labour counsel

BDO Abogados has appointed Juan Ignacio Olmos, formerly of KPMG Abogados, as counsel to strengthen and promote the employment law advisory area at its Barcelona office.

Juan Ignacio Olmos has more than 27 years’ experience in labour law, specialising in the field of labour relations. Before joining BDO Abogados, he was head of the Employment Law department for Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Andorra at KPMG Abogados. He has also been a partner in the Employment Law department at Ceca Magán Abogados and a partner in the Employment Law department at Andersen Tax & Legal.

The new counsel has a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona and extensive additional training in human resources and labour relations, being a career civil servant on leave of absence.
