Ramón y Cajal recruits Antonio Jiménez-Clar as new Partner
Ramón y Cajal Abogados has added a high-profile name to its team with the appointment of Antonio Jiménez-Clar as a new partner. Jiménez-Clar, a State Attorney currently on leave from public service, joins the firm’s Public Law department.
Until now, he served as Secretary General and Secretary of the Board of Directors at Mercasa, the state-owned company responsible for managing wholesale food distribution markets across Spain. His move to Ramón y Cajal marks a strategic reinforcement of the firm’s Administrative Law practice.
The hire aligns with Ramón y Cajal’s ongoing strategy of bringing in top-tier legal talent. Led by managing partner Francisco Palá, the firm continues to strengthen its core practice areas with experienced professionals from both the public and private sectors. Also on June 2025, the law firm has hired Manuel Martín Moreta, from RCD, to head the labor and employment area of its Madrid office.
With this addition, Ramón y Cajal further solidifies its reputation as a leading firm in regulatory and administrative law, a field increasingly relevant in complex legal and business landscapes.
