Cuatrecasas advises Tion Renewables on the acquisition from EDPR of a portfolio of four photovoltaic solar energy projects
Cuatrecasas has advised Tion Renewables on the acquisition from EDP Renovables España (EDPR) of a portfolio of four solar PV projects with an installed capacity of 104 MW in Spain (Aragon and Andalusia), fully backed by long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs).
This transaction, Tion Renewables’ largest to date in terms of installed capacity, not only in Spain, is an important milestone in its expansion strategy.
The firm’s team in charge of the advisory services was composed of lawyers José Luis Rodríguez, Ana Laso and Juan Manuel Navajas, from Corporate M&A; Miguel Cruz, David Vidal and Íñigo Várez, from Finance; and Alejandro Bonitch and Ignacio Giner, from Regulatory.
