Lexa Go launches an AI version based on practical reasonableness
Spanish legal AI platform Lexa Go, developed by the law firm Grupo Lexa, has unveiled a major update to its labor law advisory tool. The newly released version, Lexa Go 2.1, introduces an evolved model named “Colmenar”, which emphasizes practical reasoning and deeper jurisprudential insight.
Following the initial launch of its generative AI solution in September 2024, Lexa Go’s new iteration aims to go beyond literal interpretations of legal texts. By integrating what the company calls “principles of practical reasonableness,” the platform now delivers legally sound responses that also reflect the real-world judgment and experience of seasoned labor law professionals.
According to the company, the Colmenar model enhances response quality by providing integrated case law references, statistical data to reinforce perspectives, or regularly updated jurisprudence database, among other things.
“With this upgrade, our AI does more than quote legal articles—it understands the context and delivers useful answers. That’s what our users truly need,” said Joaquín Castiella, CEO of Lexa Go.
