CMS Portugal appoints three new managing associates
CMS Portugal has appointed three new managing associates: David Apolónia (corporate M&A), Margarida Rosenbusch, and Miguel Almeida e Costa (employment & pensions), all pictured from left to right. “The promotion of David, Margarida, and Miguel reflect the recognition of their professional merit, which has marked their journeys at CMS Portugal. David Apolónia, who has been with CMS Portugal since 2017, provides legal services in the areas of commercial Law, corporate M&A, capital markets, and civil law. His work has primarily focused on corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, acquisition financing, bond issuances, and legal advice on corporate compliance and governance matters.
With around 20 years of experience, Margarida Rosenbusch mainly practices in the areas of labour and social security law, advising both domestic and international clients across various sectors, including telecommunications, retail, aviation, technology, and financial services. She has experience in labour litigation, handling a wide range of court proceedings related (or not) to the termination of employment relationships, as well as issues concerning social security.
Also specialising in employment & pensions, Miguel Almeida e Costa is a key advisor to clients in the banking, financial, industrial, and technology sectors. He advises on the legal framework and strategy related to human resources, and handles complex litigation involving pension funds, restructurings, administrative offences, workplace accidents, and the recognition or existence of employment contracts.
