Andersen incorporates Marta Duarte Silva as Tax partner in Lisbon
Andersen has hired Marta Duarte Silva, from Cuatrecasas, as a partner in the Tax Department in its Lisbon office. Duarte has more than 20 years of experience in which she has specialized in providing tax advice to private clients and family offices.

Marta Duarte Silva
Throughout her career, Marta Duarte Silva has advised numerous clients on tax residency planning and international and national mobility, succession planning and family and business wealth management. She also has extensive experience in the structuring of financial instruments and operations, as well as in the implementation of fiduciary structures and family offices.
Duarte comes from Cuatrecasas, where she has held various positions over the last 18 years. She is based in the firm’s Lisbon office.
She holds a Law Degree from the University of Lisbon and a Master’s Degree in International Business Law from the Portuguese Catholic University. Her education is completed with an Advanced Professional Certificate in International Taxation at the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (The Netherlands), as well as postgraduate degrees in Corporate Governance and Corporate Finance from the Private Law Research Center of the University of Lisbon, and in Corporate Tax Law from the Instituto de Direito das Empresas e do Trabalho of the University of Coimbra. She is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences and is author and co-author of articles related to her specialty.
