EY Abogados advises Acciona on its acquisition of Mytra Control
EY Abogados has advised Acciona on its acquisition of Mytra Control, a Spanish technology company specialized in automation and control solutions for water infrastructures.
Mytra Control has a solid reputation and over 10 years of experience in the automation and control sector for infrastructure in Spain. Located in Alcalá de Henares, the company is a technological engineering firm specializing in industrial automation and maintains contracts with prestigious clients both nationally and internationally.
The transaction has been executed through the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Mytra Control to its founding shareholders.
With this acquisition, Acciona strengthens its water division, where it operates through various activities, ranging from the construction of desalination, purification, and wastewater treatment plants to the management of the entire water cycle – including water capture, purification, and desalination.
The legal team was led by Susana Gómez Badiola, partner in Corporate, M&A and Private Equity, with the support of Elsa Puentes Hernández, senior manager, and Félix Madero Recio, senior associate, both members of the Corporate and M&A department and Beatriz Ruiz Herrero, senior manager from the Public Law department. The team also included Elena Sánchez Llorente, partner, Francisco Triviño Nuñez, senior manager, and Rocio Meca Fernández, senior associate, all from the Tax Law department, Raul Luis García González and Nicolás Chacón González, partner and senior manager, respectively, from the Labour Law department.
