Ruth Doval Inclán, new director of the legal services of the CGAE
Ruth Doval Inclán, chief state attorney before the National Court, will be the new director of the legal services at the Spanish General Council of the Legal Profession (CGAE), as announced today by the president Salvador González in the plenary session of the institution.

Doval Inclán, who joined the Corps of State Lawyers in 2002, was since 2020 chief state lawyer before the National Court, where she has spent most of her professional career. She was currently head of the General Administrative Department, which also includes other jurisdictional bodies. Previously, she was State Attorney before the Central Contentious-Administrative Courts and previously worked as Chief Attorney in the province of Zamora.
In 2020 she was awarded the First Class Cross of the Order of San Raimundo de Peñafort. She holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where she has also taught.
The new director is the first woman to head the legal services of the General Council. The President of CGAE, Salvador González, explained this morning to the councilors that “Ruth Doval is a professional of recognized solvency who will surely consolidate the excellence with which the legal services of the General Council have been working. She assumes the challenge with great enthusiasm and we are sure that she will contribute a lot to the work of our institution”.
