Teresa Martin, JLL’s new International General Counsel for EMEA and APAC
JLL has appointed Teresa Martin as JLL’s new International General Counsel for EMEA and APAC.
Teresa Martin
Martin joined JLL more than 10 years ago, and since then has held a number of key positions within the firm’s legal department. Among them, she has been EMEA general counsel (2022-2025), head of Legal & Compliance and Ethics Officer for Southern Europe (2021-2022), as well as participating in cross-cutting regulatory matters of the firm. During this time, she has been based in Madrid, leading teams and tackling legal challenges linked to the expansion and regulation of real estate assets in Europe.
Prior to joining JLL, she held the position of Head of Legal at Grupo Ibosa (2012-2015), where she managed key legal aspects of real estate development, from land acquisition to asset management and litigation. Her experience also includes working at the law firm Peña Abogados, as well as an extensive career at Inmocapital (2002-2011), where she held the position of head of legal and human resources, participating in both commercial and urban development operations as well as HR and compliance functions.
