Miguel Lobón, new managing partner of the Barcelona office of Ceca Magán
Ceca Magán Abogados appoints Miguel Lobón as new managing partner of the Barcelona office. Lobón takes over from Santiago Torent López de Lamadrid, who has held the position since September 2022, with the objective of positioning the firm in Barcelona and leading a team of 32 professionals, consisting of 22 lawyers and 6 partners.

Lobón joined the firm in January 2023. He is currently a partner in the commercial area in the Barcelona office. At the age of 37, he has become the youngest managing partner of the firm to lead a team of 32 professionals, made up of 22 lawyers and 6 partners. He has specific economic and management training from IESE, as well as a track record in negotiating highly complex corporate agreements at the national and international level. In addition, he actively participates as a director in family businesses.
In 2025, his main objective will be to strengthen the team, incorporate new talent, expand the practice areas and reinforce its presence in the Catalan business fabric. According to the new managing partner, “We want to continue offering excellent service, anticipate the needs of our clients and consolidate our position as one of the leading law firms in Barcelona. During these two years, Torent has implemented a business plan that has led to a 205% growth in Barcelona in 2023 and 2024. This office currently represents 15% of the firm’s total.
