Blas Piñar joins Belagua as a litigation partner

Belagua has reinforced its litigation and arbitration practice with the appointment of Blas Piñar Guzmán as a new partner.

With 20 years of experience, Piñar has advised clients in civil and commercial litigation, representing them before Spanish courts at various levels and in arbitrations administered by leading national and international arbitration institutions.

Coming from Arias, he has been involved in advising and resolving disputes across multiple industries, including technology, energy, construction, infrastructure, finance, agribusiness, and pharmaceuticals. His expertise also extends to corporate conflicts, insolvency proceedings, and business crisis management.

In addition to his legal practice, Piñar is an accredited mediator by the Spanish Ministry of Justice and serves as a professor of private international law and alternative dispute resolution at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
