Cerejeira advises Groupe Isagri on Filosoft acquisition

Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão has provided legal counsel to Groupe Isagri, a prominent French investment group and European leader in information technology for agriculture, viticulture, and livestock farming, during the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Filosoft. Filosoft specializes in billing, accounting, tax, and payroll software for accounting firms and companies. Groupe Isagri completed the acquisition through its Portuguese subsidiary, CentralGest.

The advisory services covered the entire process, including preparation, negotiation, and finalization of transaction documentation, as well as support during the due diligence conducted on behalf of CentralGest. Groupe Isagri boasts a global turnover of €340 million and employs more than 3,000 staff across 13 countries.

“This acquisition positions CentralGest as a leader in Portugal for SaaS and full-web solutions for accountants and their clients”, states Cerejeira in a press release. Following this acquisition, over 35% of Portuguese accounting firms and their clients rely on software and services from CentralGest, Groupe Isagri’s Portuguese subsidiary. CentralGest aims to capture 50% of the market share among accounting firms in Portugal within four years.
