This landmark transaction strengthens Engie’s position as a market leader in urban heating and cooling networks, underscoring its commitment to sustainable and efficient energy solutions.
District Heating Eco Energías specializes in the development and management of district heating networks powered by biomass and other renewable energy sources. The company holds a robust portfolio of projects demonstrating significant capacity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This acquisition not only enhances Engie’s footprint in Spain but also solidifies its pipeline of projects to support future growth in the sector.
