Marc Carrera has an extensive professional career, with more than 22 years practicing law. His relationship with Sagardoy began in 2002, when he took over the management of the Barcelona office, achieving “decisive” growth for the firm in the region. After heading PwC’s labor law department, he returned to Sagardoy in 2022 as Partner in Madrid. Now, in 2024, he takes again the reins of Sagardoy in Barcelona, with the aim of strengthening the firm’s leadership in Catalonia.
Carerra has advised leading companies in sectors such as Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Iron and Steel, Insurance and Leisure, bringing a broad and versatile experience. In addition to his professional work, he stands out in the academic field as a speaker in training programs and current affairs sessions. In the past, he has been an associate professor at the University of Barcelona and coordinator of the Aranzadi Social Forum.
