Cuatrecasas advises CUF on 13 clinics acquisition in Portugal
Cuatrecasas in Portugal has provided legal counsel to CUF in its acquisition of 13 miMed health clinics from Sociedade Francisco Manuel dos Santos. The clinics, located in the Greater Lisbon area, will join CUF’s national network and operate under the CUF brand starting in the first quarter of 2025.
With this acquisition, CUF’s network will expand to 43 healthcare units, including hospitals, clinics, and proximity care units. These proximity units, located in easily accessible areas, will offer continuous care services in general and family medicine, occupational medicine, dentistry, psychology, nutrition, nursing care, treatments, clinical analysis, and other essential exams.
The Cuatrecasas team involved in the deal was led by partner Alexandra M. Martins, specializing in corporate and M&A, and included senior partner Luís Miguel Cortes Martins and associate Filipa Teixeira Diniz (all pictured from left to right).
