Linklaters advises on the acquisition of a majority stake in Prosalia by InfraVia
Linklaters has advised Prosolia Internacional, Prosolia Energy’s parent company, on the acquisition by European private equity firm InfraVia Capital Partners of a majority stake in the company, which specializes in infrastructure assets, critical metals, real estate and technology investments.
InfraVia will inject significant capital to support Prosolia’s global business plan and expansion efforts.
Furthermore, as part of its strategy for European development, Prosolia will acquire the significant minority stake held by Capenergie 4, an investment fund managed by investment firm Omnes Capital in Prosomnes. Prosomnes is a joint venture established in 2020 to develop large-scale photovoltaic projects across Europe. Prosomnes currently has close to 212 MW of operational or under-construction projects, with an additional 1.8 GW under development.
Prosolia’s founder-led management team will retain a significant stake in the company and will continue to lead its next phase of accelerated growth, leveraging InfraVia’s expertise and financial backing to expand into new international markets and scale its clean energy portfolio.
The team was led by Lara Hemzaoui Rodrigo, with support from Elena Rodríguez Fernández, José Buigues and Sofía Maldonado Carpi. The team also included colleagues from Linklaters Lisbon and Linklaters Paris.
