Ashurst expands Risk Advisory Services to the Middle East
Ashurst has launched its Risk Advisory practice in the Middle East, becoming the first international law firm to offer integrated legal and risk consulting services in the region. Led by Nisha Sanghani, who brings over 19 years of experience, this new branch will focus on risk management, corporate governance, and complex infrastructure and capital projects across various sectors.
This move aligns with Ashurst’s commitment to anticipating clients’ evolving needs in a shifting risk landscape. Jamie Ng, Global Co-Head of Ashurst Advance & Consulting, highlighted the importance of bringing together legal and consulting talent to deliver comprehensive solutions, drawing on the success of similar practices in the UK and Australia.
David Charlier, Managing Partner for Ashurst in the Middle East, emphasized the region’s demand for trusted advisors who provide both legal expertise and operational insight, especially as clients pursue ambitious goals. Sanghani noted the unique opportunities in the Middle East, describing the expansion as a response to the region’s transformative economic and social vision.
Since its establishment in 2020, Ashurst Risk Advisory has grown rapidly, now comprising over 100 professionals globally, making it one of the firm’s fastest-growing divisions as it supports clients in navigating critical business challenges.
