CMS advises 21 Invest and Ardian on the sale of Synerlab
An international team from CMS has advised 21 Invest and Ardian in the sale of Synerlab, a leading European pharmaceutical development and manufacturing company, to U.S.-based investment firm Blue Wolf Capital Partners.
CMS Spain’s involvement focused on structuring and preparing documentation for the acquisition of the Spanish subsidiary, Laboratorios Alcalá Farma. The transaction in Spain was led by partner Mariano Bautista and senior associate Jorge Peris from the Corporate team, with contributions from Mercantil lawyers Paula Zafra and Itziar Martínez-Pardo. Other key members included partner Juan Moreno, Ana Doval, and Alejandro García-Noblejas from Public Law and Regulated Sectors, as well as Intellectual Property and Digital Business specialists Irene San Martín and Lucía Signes. Fiscal advice was provided by partner Ricardo Héctor and associates Marta Burgos and Isabel Montes.
The global operation was led by CMS France, with partner Arnaud Hugot at the helm, supported by Corporate/M&A lawyers Matthieu Rollin and Louise Paysant.
