ECIJA advises Telefónica Digital Innovation on the launch of TU Wallet
ECIJA has provided regulatory advice to Telefónica Digital Innovation for the market launch of TU Wallet, a new app designed for managing crypto assets. The app will be fully operated by the cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me, ensuring seamless and secure asset management for users.
The law firm’s guidance covered key regulatory requirements necessary to bring the project to life in collaboration with Telefónica’s digital team. The initiative was led by Cristina Villasante Chamorro, a partner at ECIJA Madrid, with support from senior associate Pau Camarasa Ferri.
The launch of TU Wallet marks an important step in Telefónica’s expansion into the digital asset space, supported by ECIJA’s legal expertise in navigating the complex regulatory landscape surrounding cryptocurrency.
