Leonor Pissarra joins SRS Legal as head of life sciences

As anticipated by sources of Iberian Lawyer, Leonor Pissarra has been appointed as partner and head of the life sciences department at SRS Legal. Leonor Pissarra comes from Novartis, where she served as country chief legal officer, managing complex legal and regulatory matters. Over her more than 25-year career, she has held senior positions at Novartis, where she worked on a range of issues including regulatory compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property, public procurement, and dispute resolution.

Pissarra’s role at Novartis further broadened her expertise, as she managed legal issues surrounding healthcare innovation and market access. Before joining Novartis, Leonor Pissarra was managing associate at Vieira de Almeida & Associados, where she provided assistance to top multinational pharma companies on multiple complex regulatory matters.
