Pavia e Ansaldo arrives in Madrid

Pavia e Ansaldo opens an office in Madrid, under the direction of Meritxell Roca Ortega, partner in charge of the Barcelona office, the Spanish Desk in Milan and now also the Madrid office. She will operate together with Spanish lawyer Javier Vicente and a team of national professionals with knowledge of both Italian and Spanish language and culture.

Strengthens its position in the Spanish market

With the new office, located in the Salamanca district, the Italian firm strengthens its position in the Spanish market, where it offers its legal services mainly to Italian and European companies and investment funds present in Spain, with a particular emphasis on M&A transactions.

In the words of Meritxell Roca Ortega: “Madrid is one of the largest European business centers, thanks also to its privileged relationship with Latin America, and is particularly dynamic in sectors such as finance and telecommunications, as well as being a hub for the main multinationals established in Spain. This new location fits perfectly with the activity of our offices in Barcelona and the rest of the world’.

But, above all, Meritxell adds, ‘it is a decision taken with our clients in mind, who have recently been asking us to advise them from the capital. We have come to accompany them”.

For his part, the managing partner of Pavia e Ansaldo, Stefano Bianchi, wanted to emphasize that this decision “is another step in the internationalization of the firm. We want to be present wherever we can offer added value to our clients through our professional community, with our own style and values that represent it: confidence in the law, interdisciplinary and multicultural approach and openness to social and economic changes”.

With the opening of the Madrid office, Pavia e Ansaldo consolidates its presence in Spain and now has four offices outside Italy -Madrid, Barcelona, Moscow and Tokyo-, in addition to Milan, Rome and Turin.
