Ana Muñoz new Director of Corporate Governance at PwC
PwC has strengthened its internal management policies with the appointment of Ana Muñoz Pedraz as the new Director of Corporate Governance and Legal Compliance for its operations in Spain.
Ana Muñoz, has served as a State Attorney before the National Court, brings extensive experience in regulatory supervision and compliance in regulated markets. She has represented and defended the State and regulatory bodies in key areas such as Energy, Regulated Markets, Competition Law, and Telecommunications since January 2018.
Muñoz holds a Double Degree in Law and Political Science from Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE, where she graduated with the Extraordinary End-of-Degree Award. Her expertise also includes participation in several public competition tribunals, such as the State Attorney Corps and other legal bodies across Spain. Additionally, she has served as a speaker for the Central Administrative Tribunal of Contractual Appeals (TACRC) and authored various publications on public procurement and Competition Law.
Beyond her legal career, Muñoz is an experienced educator, having taught courses for the Public Administration, including at the Center for Legal Studies and the National Institute of Public Administration. She is also a professor in the Master’s Program for Access to the Legal Profession at Instituto de Empresa. Her appointment is expected to enhance PwC’s governance and compliance strategies as the firm continues to provide comprehensive professional services throughout Spain.
