Grant Thornton expands in Canary Islands with New Partnerships
Grant Thornton is strengthening its presence in the Canary Islands by expanding the size and capabilities of its operations there. The firm, presided by Ramón Galcerán (pictured) and which has been active in the region for the past three years, is now incorporating two additional firms: Aguilar Abogados and Constantino 13. These two firms will join the existing team, which includes Grant Thornton, Cuyás Abogados, and Sorben Partners.
This new collaboration forms the refreshed entity, Grant Thornton Canarias, which is now positioned as one of the leading next-generation professional services firms in the Canary Islands due to its increased size and service offerings.
The addition of new partners brings expertise in labor and tax law. Aguilar Abogados, founded by Francisco Aguilar and José Losada, specializes in labor law, while Constantino 13, led by Atilio Rodríguez, focuses on tax, economic, and financial advisory, having operated since the 1980s.
This partnership aligns with the company’s vision of becoming a “one-stop-shop” for all professional advisory needs in the Canary Islands, supported by professionals with deep local knowledge and expertise in the unique business landscape of the region.
