Cecília Meireles, ATIC’s new general secretary

Cecília Meireles, former partner of Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão, has joined the Technical Association of the Cement Industry as the new general secretary.

Less than a month ago, this media published the news of the departure of Cecília Meireles from Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão, to face new professional challenges. The lawyer and former congresswoman has joined ATIC (Technical Association of the Cement Industry) as general secretary.

Career

Cecília Meireles joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2022, where she coordinated the Lisbon office and worked mainly in the Corporate area.

She holds a law degree from the Law School of the University of Coimbra and subsequently completed an MBA at Porto Business School. She started her professional activity in Porto and has been a member of the Bar Association since 2003.

She was a member of the Assembly of the Republic between 2009 and 2022, having worked, above all, in several parliamentary committees of inquiry and in the coordination of her party in the elaboration of the State Budget, as well as in the coordination of the financial and economic areas.

He was also Secretary of State for Tourism in the XI and XII Legislatures.
